Your Questions, Answered
-
Nope! Bring your bike on it. First come, first served.
-
We will absolutely service any e-bike.
We can diagnose the problem and give you options to proceed. Ultimately, it depends on parts availability.
Many random, online e-bike sellers use low quality, hard-to-source electronics, which can make service/ repair difficult.
-
Common causes we see:
Battery or charging problems
Wiring or connection issues
Wear on drivetrain or brakes
Improper setup (especially with online purchases)
-
It depends on the issue and parts availability. Once we take a look, we’ll give you a timeline.
-
Though there are good options, the majority of e-bikes sold online are made cheap and will cost a lot more in the long run.
Better to make the investment up front, buy from a shop, and avoid headaches and issues down the road.
A lot of times for the same cost, e-bikes purchased from bike shops will ride better, hold value, and be dependable for years to come.
Not to mention you can test ride, know the bike shop will be able to service the e-bike, and get opinions from real people.
-
Bosch, Shimano, Bafang, and Ananda are the best.
-
Cost varies greatly.
For electrical issues that are less evident, we charge an electronic diagnostic deposit.
This covers time to find out what the issue is. If you decide to proceed with the repair, this deposit gets applied to the total cost, in some cases money gets refunded.
Alternatively, you can apply that deposit to purchase a new e-bike, if the repair costs are too high.
